GlobalOutlook announced the appointment of Prabhakar Reddy as their Global CEO. The appointment follows the February announcement by Naya Ventures that the fund would be committing additional funds to expand the management team and grow the company’s international customer base.
The hire is part of a series of strategic actions by the company to expand its strong presence in India as a secure cloud-based Business Communication provider to additional global markets such the Middle East, Sri Lanka, UK and the US as well as to establish local cloud-based infrastructure capabilities in these market. Reddy’s appointment follows the announcement from the company in February that Naya Ventures would be committing additional funds to expand the management team and grow the company’s international customer base and product roadmap.

Mr. Reddy is responsible for overall strategic growth and global Sales for Global Outlook. He will continue his role as Managing Director of Naya Ventures. Most recently, Mr. Reddy was Managing Director at ANSR Group, a Dallas-based Boutique Global Advisory firm based in Dallas providing Global Sourcing Advisory and strategies for Fortune 500 firms and SMBs where he advised CXO’s on global sourcing strategies. His career includes 15 years of management consulting and leadership roles at Sunoco, Navigant, SunGard and as a cofounder of RiseSmart.com. Mr. Reddy earned a M.B.A from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his Bachelor of Engineering from Andhra University.

A key initiative for the company is the expansion of its product offering in order to meet the needs of both SMBs and enterprises worldwide. As of May 2012, the company is offering both Sharepoint 2010 and Lync 2010, which provide enhanced features compared to earlier versions and allow for improved communication and collaboration. GlobalOutlook has been able to expand from its initial position of being the first white label Hosted Exchange provider in India to customers across the globe by offering its initial White Label partnerships, Direct Sales Channels and self-service online portal.
