Job Description:
Position Title: Sales Head
Locations: Hyderabad
Experience: 10 to 12 years
Education: MBA
Reports to: CEO/MD, will lead & own sales, marketing, support and responsible for revenues & profits
- Responsible for Sales primarily through direct sales & own revenue quota along with profitability
- Responsible for Channel Sales & Channel Development, as secondary source of sales
- Defining the sales strategy, managing the sales aspects of regionalization
- Responsible of all sales activities, departments and personnel involved in Sales
- Driving product sales mix in accordance to the corporate directions
- Provides leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales department
- Align to Company vision, objectives and strategic goals
- Analyze sales statistics to determine business growth potential
Major duties include: selling enterprise class Microsoft 0365, Azure services and create value add complimentary solutions/services around O365
Responsibilities include :
- Developing & Managing the Direct Sales and Channel Partners & Business
- Drive Marketing – build solid sales funnel through internal lead generation
- Manage and Monitor the lead gen, pipeline, metrics, and forecasts and drive sales numbers
- Manage timely billing, collections and receivables
- MIS reports to Management
- Closely associate and work with Microsoft teams across India particularly Cloud teams
- Preferably former Sales Head for country or least case regional head
- Exp in IT Solution Services, IT products.
- Had earlier sales quota & revenue responsibility (Necessary)
- Forecasting and a defined sales process (Necessary)
- Strong enterprise sales experience with proven track record (Necessary)
- Strategic thinker
- Email/Messaging sales experience (Preferable)
- Selling Cloud based solutions/products/services to SMEs in particular & Enterprises in general (Must), AWS, Azure, Google , Zoho, CRM Solutions (Preferably MS Dynamics), ERP Solutions, IaaS, PaaS etc.
- Conceptual knowledge of technologies (Server / Storage / Networking / Cloud / Middleware etc. & IT Service Management)
- Is able to bring in Managed Technical Services opportunities to the table (Microsoft Exchange, O365 Remote desktop support management & {Azure, AWS preferably})
- Understands the end to end customer lifecycle management eco-system
- Deep connects with Partner eco system is preferable
- Deep connects with OEMs, etc
- Advantage – Worked on Govt tenders & RFPs/RFQs
- Candidate should have extensive experience in developing new accounts (hunting)
- Associated with Microsoft partner eco-system and in particular O365 will be preferable
- Last 3 years owned national responsibility of owning & driving sales
- Highly motivated, energetic, hungry for growth and inspirational leadership skills to motivate teams
